Graphic Design: image maker

I kind of fell into graphic design. At first it was just people asking me to make them things, like letter heads and logos. Since I drew anyway it seemed easy enough on the surface, to make things in this idiom. But once I got into it I realised what a wide ranging craft graphics are. Somehow, someone gave me a job art directing a small advertising agency. So in one fell swoop I had to learn graphic design and a plethora of computer graphics programs. Since those early days in 1996 graphics slowly took over to become my main profession. So that by the time I joined 3 in a box four years ago I was a graphic designer.
